Buying kids clothes online in India is easy until the parcel arrives and the sleeves stop at the elbow. Age labels are only a starting point: two four-year-olds can be 10 cm apart in height. Here is how to choose the right size every time, using the same chart we use in our own factory.
Step 1: Measure height, not just age
Stand your child against a wall with heels touching it. Place a book flat on their head and mark the wall. Measure from the floor to the mark. Height is the single best predictor of fit for pyjamas, cord sets and one-piece clothing.
Step 2: Measure the chest
Wrap a soft tape around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms, keeping it relaxed rather than tight. Chest matters most for tops and sleepwear sets.

Between two sizes? Go up
Children grow fast, and a slightly roomy pyjama is more comfortable to sleep in than a snug one. Our organic cotton is pre-shrunk, so the size you buy is the size you keep, and it softens with every wash. If height and chest point to different sizes, follow height for sleepwear and chest for fitted tops.
Common sizing mistakes parents make
- Buying by age only. Always check height against the chart.
- Measuring over clothes. A thick sweater adds 2–4 cm to the chest.
- Ignoring shrinkage. Regular cotton that is not pre-shrunk can lose length after the first hot wash. Wash cold and inside out.
